Marketing Analyst II

Responsibilities: Develops complex marketing analyses for projecting subscriber acquisition, campaign results projections, and line of business forecasting. Provides analytical insight and support associated with marketing and media performance. Responsible for the achievement of corporate subscriber acquisition objectives, goals, and initiatives set forth by management of the Cooperative. Utilizes analytical software to generate reports that support marketing analysis, including (and not limited to): ESRI or related GIS products, PeopleSoft, Business Objects, Google Analytics and the Microsoft product suite. Develops and executes regular reporting and dashboard KPIs for Marketing Team. Researches methods and best practices for establishing marketing automation programs (physical and digital) for regularly scheduled customer acquisition and member communication programs. Recommends internal data and security requirements and evaluates third party vendors. Implements measures to improve cost savings, time efficiencies, and best use of HTC resources. Assists in maintaining the Cooperative's membership activities including events and the Annual Meeting. Performs other duties as assigned in order to meet the overall objectives of the department. Assists in other areas of the Marketing and Strategic Initiatives Department as needed.

Position Requirements Experience: Minimum of four years related experience and/or training in using highly targeted data for the creation and evaluation of multi-channel customer acquisition and retention programs including e-mail, text and direct mail.

Job Knowledge: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent experience. Degree in Marketing, Business or Mathematics preferred. Receives very general guidance with respect to overall objectives; work is usually quite independent of others; operate within cooperative policy guidelines using independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives. Able to initiate and manage complex projects from start to finish. Outlines key steps and decision points in advance. Recruits and effectively works with other departmental contacts to build and function as a team in order to achieve specific short term and long term goals and product implementation(s). Familiarity with third party data resources and assimilation/appending with existing customer data for evaluation and highly targeted marketing communications. Possesses excellent problem solving skills. Has the ability to calculate the percentage of change. Projects take rates based on previous data and experience. Finds mistakes in multiple-step calculations. Recognizes the definitions of common telecom and marketing jargon, based on the context of the reading materials. Must have the ability to write messages that are clear and highly consistent with standard business English. Uses good sentence structure with a smooth, logical style and no grammatical errors. Must have a knowledgeable working experience with the following software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Outlook. Expected to become proficient in certain software used within HTC, including and not limited to; PeopleSoft, Business Objects, Excel AddIn and SmartView. Understanding the fundamentals of telecom and basic processes of outside plant construction, CPE installation, Network construction a plus, not required. Correctly records all the important information and the relationships among pieces of information from a spoken communication. Uses supporting details to convey insight into the particular situation the message involves.

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and lift up to 50 pounds. No special vision requirements. Working Conditions: Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation with moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic). May work near moving mechanical parts. Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature. Occasional work out of doors or in large exhibit halls where moving and set up of trade show booths, portable tents, tables and various materials will be required.
