The purpose of this requirement is to provide Medical Communication Infrastructure Technical support to the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH) located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia (VA). The FBCH is a state of the art world-class medical care healing environment and leads military medicine through outstanding patient-centered care, innovation, and excellence in education and research. The FBCH is a 120-bed hospital and the central facility of a comprehensive health care network, which encompasses two Family Health Centers (FHC) located in the communities of Dumfries and Fairfax and includes a Specialty Care Ward, Medical/Surgical Unit, Labor and Delivery Suites, a Mother/Baby Unit, Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program, and a 24 hour Emergency Room. The FBCH serves approximately 95,000 eligible military beneficiaries in Northern Virginia. FBCH’s top priority is to care for the Wounded Warriors, Active Duty, and Veterans. FBCH maintains around-the-clock casualty care to restore the health and well-being of those they treat. They also ensure the readiness of our country’s active duty and provide excellent care for their beneficiaries. Information Assurance - Policy Analyst responsible for: Experience with DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation (DIACAP) / DoD Risk Management Framework (DRMF). The candidate will be a team member working as part of the Certification and Accreditation Team, reporting to the Information Assurance Manager. The ideal candidate shall have expertise with implementing IA policy and DOD guidance for operating systems, applications, networks and databases and relate that to the Defense in Depth computing, enclave, and enterprise environment required practices. Duties will be a mixture of managing the C&A processes [to include documentation preparation, system scans, remediation, POA&M’s through DIACAP effort for all FBCH IS’s applications] with tracking system(s) status, prioritizing and planning for annual review of IA control compliance.
Assisting in the management of the Information Assurance Security Program IAW DoD, DHA, and local policies/procedures Assisting with threat/vulnerability assessments for classified and non-classified Information Systems Performing risk assessments and prepare reports as needed IAW DoD 8500.01 all new Information System (IS) at FBCH Developing and/or maintaining Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for FBCH IS’s while generating and/or updating documentation/artifacts IAW DoD 8500.01, DoD 8510.01, and local policies and procedures Collaborating with Government IA managers, IV&V team and contractors in defining the system’s Defense-in-Depth architecture, verifying IA controls, IA deficiency database, Risk Mitigation Plan and Residual Risk Assessment to prepare DIACAP packages IAW DoD 8500.01 and DoD 8500.8510.01 Ensuring that all required IA core documentation and applicable artifacts are periodically reviewed and updated to current security compliance that will maintain favorable DAA decision for an Authorization to Operate on the FBCH LAN Incorporating the following skills and applications daily, unless specified differently: - DoD Enterprise Missions Assurance Support System (eMASS)
