Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Six (6) months of serving experience in a restaurant setting.
  2. Six (6) months of customer service experience in a hospitality environment.
  3. Demonstrate interpersonal skills and abilities that promote positive guest service.
  4. Effective communication - good auditory acuity, able to respond to questions and provide information.
  5. Physically able to: stand or walk for long periods of time; perform routine bending and lifting of product up to 20 lbs; to perform repetitive motions of arms, hands, wrists, and fingers; and stretching, lifting and maneuvering furniture and equipment up to 50 lbs; to work in a varied hot, cold and smoky environment.
  6. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  7. Must possess or obtain a Food Handler's certificate and an OLCC certificate within 30 days of employment.
  8. Requires a high security gaming license clearance.
  9. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing efficient, personable service for banquets booked at WRC, including set-up, attractive food display and proper food handling maintenance, beverage service and providing attentive service to guests dining needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient and friendly service, placing the customers' service needs first.
  2. Responsible for proper food handling, ensuring that food is stored and maintained at appropriate temperature.
  3. Assists Banquet Captain with banquet set-up as outlined in guest contract, including table settings, seating, theming, etc.
  4. Performs routine set-up, including setting table cloths, linens, silverware, glassware, place settings, dinnerware, etc., according to service standards
  5. After event, promptly assists with take down and clean up.
  6. Throughout banquet service, maintains a neat, clean and organized flow at assigned station
  7. Accepts payment for beverages, accurately processing in POS system.
  8. Keeps Supervisor apprised of operational concerns including recipes, inventory, and supply needs.
  9. Make sure all store rooms are clean, organized and secured.
  10. Reports any health standards or safety needs immediately to Supervisor
  11. Promote internal guest service standards with courteous and respectful behavior with co-workers. Maintain a cooperative positive attitude with an emphasis on team work.
  12. Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  13. Other duties as assigned.
 
Salary $10.50-$13.00 Hourly
