MedImmune is pioneering innovative research and exploring novel pathways across key therapeutic areas, including respiratory, inflammation and autoimmunity; cardiovascular and metabolic disease; oncology; neuroscience; and infection and vaccines. We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or a related major for an internship during the summer of 2018. This internship opportunity is with the Analytical Sciences department. Core Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be trained on analytical bioassay for characterization and potency testing of biopharmaceutical products such as therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. She/he is expected to work mainly in in vitro study laboratories, perform assigned assays, support data analysis/results interpretation/report preparation. She/he may also identify, evaluate and optimize new technologies for improving efficiency of bioactivity testing. The candidate will be expected to prepare technical presentations, poster(s) and technical summaries for internal presentation.
