Capstone Performance Systems, a subsidiary or Tabula Rasa Healthcare is seeking a Client Success Consultant who will apply his or her technical and specialized expertise to help healthcare programs remain compliant with government regulations while identifying opportunities for increased financial success.

The CSC performs highly technical and specialized functions for Capstone. In addition to reviewing & analyzing coding documentation from medical records, the Client Success Consultant also coordinates the “care” of the client. The primary function of this position is to promote retention, growth and satisfaction through coordinated communication with the client. The CSC will work from his or her home office. Some travel is required.

A Capstone Client Success Consultant will:

Primary Functions:

  • Assesses client needs based on structured (quarterly) assessments (performed by the CSC) every quarter. Coordinates all Capstone services to the clients in the assigned panel via quarterly plans including client visits, conference calls, surveys, etc.
  • Reviews the quarterly client assessment with the client (See Client Success Consultant outline) either via webinar or on-site.
  • Performs ongoing monitoring of key indicators and makes suggestions for improvements and services to increased client satisfaction. Utilizes existing processes to develop a plan to remedy identified issues with the client.
  • Provides any additional training and education to the clients (other than quarterly review) either on-site or via webinar. This includes any additional audit reviews, CDI training and/or process issues.
  • Provides feedback and suggestions internally within the Capstone team, based upon client feedback and experience analysis.
  • Maintains professional license and certifications and attends training conferences/webinars as necessary to keep abreast of latest trends in the field of expertise.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews bulletins, newsletters, and periodicals, and attends workshops to stay abreast of current issues, trends, and changes in the laws and regulations governing medical ICD-10 CM coding and documentation.
  • Understands and adheres to The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements.
  • Participates as requested in department meetings, client calls, and annual performance evaluation.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Completes miscellaneous projects for Capstone as assigned or requested.
 
Position Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will possess:

  • Associate Degree equivalent or graduate of accredited practical nursing program which may be either college or community vocational/technical school based required.
  • Valid nursing license required and:
  • Certified Registered Nurse coder (CRN-C), Certified Coding, or Specialist designation (CCS) issued by the American Health Information Management Association; or,
    Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Coder Apprentice (CPC-A)
    Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) with 6 months experience coding ICD-10 CM
  • 2 years documentation Improvement experience
  • Minimum one year experience in Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) or risk adjustment coding/auditing
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Comfortable with learning and becoming an expert on new and proprietary software.
  • Highly skilled in written and verbal communication.
  • Highly skilled at establishing priorities and coordinating work activities.
  • Skilled at performing multiple and complex tasks.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients
  • Have exceptional initiative and follow-through on projects with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Must be detail oriented, follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision with highly confidential information per HIPAA regulations
  • Knowledge of or experience in Medicare Advantage plans, in managed health care systems, PACE or Medicare and ICD-10 Coding Certification preferred.
