Share Email Opening Title Inventory Control Supervisor  Description Position Summary The Inventory Control Supervisor will work with a team of two direct reports to ensure inventory is counted accurately and efficiently every week. This entails performing physical counts on all goods, consolidating counts, and preparing reports for end users. In addition to the weekly counts, the Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for conducting the End of Month inventory counts and preparing the consolidated report for Suja’s Accounting department. These tasks require an expert level understanding of inventory control processes, a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and an understanding of basic accounting. In addition to the inventory count responsibilities, the Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for item setups across Suja’s various databases and systems, and working with the warehouse on selecting storage locations for goods. The Inventory Control Supervisor works closely with the Purchasing and Planning departments on segregating inventory for various purposes. This role will evolve over time as we work to implement NetSuite ERP throughout our facility, and the candidate will work closely with the implementation team on system setup and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Manage team of two direct reports who manage day-to-day counts and inventory movements Compile weekly inventory reports including Finished Goods, Ingredients, Packaging, Etc. Prepare, conduct, and analyze End of Month inventory in conjunction with Accounting department “Kit Out” inventory transfers to co-packers and ensure accuracy and timeliness Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, and Manufacturing teams to ensure goods are located where they need to be and organized appropriately Develop, implement, and maintain procedures and systems for inventory control Select, develop, mentor and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Capture and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each function Set up new items in NetSuite ERP, various excel databases, and in manufacturing systems Maintain master price list of items for End of Month process   Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred; not required 3+ years of experience in Inventory Control Supervisory experience preferred 2+ years of experience with ERP systems; NetSuite a plus Be able to work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and execute detailed work plans that support operational improvement High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite – especially Excel, Outlook & cloud-based applications required; experience in data gathering; including the ability to translate large amounts of data into consolidated reports Demonstrated ability to build relationships with inter-departmental personnel Strong, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast- paced and deadline-oriented environment Responsibilities require extended hours (up to 14 hours) once per month for End of Month inventory, and may require adjusted work schedule, overtime, evening/weekend hours in order to fulfill business needs Forklift experience a plus Must be able to lift 50 pounds Will be required to work in wet environment with temperatures below 40*F A competitive compensation and benefits package is offered.
