We are currently seeking Junior and Senior students who are in the fied of Biology / Pharmaceutical / Bioinformatics or related discipline. What are the objectives/goals of the position? Developing assay using next generation sequencing (NGS) technologies protocols and analyzing animal/human samples, such as airway and gut microbiota in order to understand microbiome changes during disease progression and from drug treatment intervention. What are the primary duties of this position? Conducting experiments in the wet lab including nucleic acid extractions, NGS library preparations, NGS operations and data analysis. Participate in the research and development discussions and presenting research findings.   Position Requirements What technical skills are required? Basic molecular biology / mirobiolgy lab experience will be required Skills in nucleic acid isolation, RT/PCR, next generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation will be highly desirable Knowledgeable or competent in bioinformatics tools for sequence data analysis will be ideal.   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location South San Francisco, CA   This position is currently not accepting applications.
