Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides child and adolescent welfare and safety programs and foster care placement services. Based out of Deland, FL, this position is responsible for placing foster children in homes, recruiting foster families, facilitating MAPP classes, and licensing homes across Volusia county.

Position Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Social Services or related field required


  • Two years experience working with foster families preferred
  • Prior child welfare experience preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Certification as a Child Welfare and/or Protection Professional by the Florida Certification Board required (CWCM, CWLC and/or CPI) required
  • Must be able to complete a three day (Monday - Wednesday) new hire orientation; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Must have a valid Driver's License

Job Summary The Licensing Specialist position is a Full-Time position located in Volusia County. This position has a starting rate of $16.72 an hour - You may be eligible for additional compensation based on education and relevant experience.
