Tuknik Government Services is seeking a Communications, Change Management to work with our Federal client in the Albuquerque, NM area. Pursuant to PL 93-638, as amended, Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are a member of a Federally Recognized Native American Tribe.

This is a direct, full time position supporting TGS and our government client.

This position will be part of a team supporting a Federal Client in managing a large scale financial system conversion/integration project, by providing project management, change management and technical advisory services.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support client in providing Organization Change and Communication Management requirements through the creation and implementation/management of a strategic communications plan, involving various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and synchronize various communications forums and collaborative tools to ensure clear, concise, and consistent messages to all stakeholders.
  • Keep client Leadership and other key stakeholders apprised of project status, project risks and critical path items on schedule.
Position Requirements


  • BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, accounting or similar discipline
  • 10 years’ Communications or Change Management Experience
  • 5 years SDLC experience
  • Expertise in stakeholder analysis and communication needs management with demonstrated success in communications and change management, showing a proven track record of supporting large, complex projects/programs
  • Must have experience with large projects, well-versed in full systems development life cycle, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, and management practices.
  • Able to work well within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Experience with Federal consulting or implementation of financial systems preferred
