What are the objectives/goals of the position?
The intern will have the opportunity to learn and utilize state-of-the-art mass spectrometry instruments within our group with the goal to discover and validate clinically-relevant biomarkers and/or understand ADME properties of small molecule drugs and biotherapeutics.
What are the primary duties of this position?
The intern is expected to perform specific assays with minor supervision following hands-on training; however, assay design and preparation for most assays will be conducted with supervision. Data analysis and interpretation will be conducted with supervision. At the end of the internship, the intern is expected to give an oral presentation about their research.
