Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides programs and services for children and adolescents in the child welfare and foster care system. Based out of Fort Myers, FL, this position is responsible for recruitment and initial licensure and re-licensure of foster homes, visiting foster homes, and providing training and support to foster parents.

Position Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Services or related field required

Experience:

  • Two years experience working with foster families preferred.
  • Prior child welfare experience preferred
  • Prior foster home licensing experience a plus

Other Requirements:

  • Certification as a Child Protection Professional by the Florida Certification Board required (CWCM, CPI or CWLC)
  • Valid FL driver's license
  • Must be able to attend a 3-day, new hire orientation class from 9:00am - 5:00pm ET

Job Summary The Licensing Specialist position is a Full-Time position located in Ft. Myers, FL. This position has a starting rate of $16.72 an hour. Additional compensation available with higher education and related experience.
