MedImmune is pioneering innovative research and exploring novel pathways across key therapeutic areas, including respiratory, inflammation and autoimmunity; cardiovascular and metabolic disease; oncology; neuroscience; and infection and vaccines. We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or related major for an internship during the summer of 2018. This internship opportunity is with the Research and Development department. The intern will develop up to date knowledge on current validation requirements and practices for the purposes of process mapping and validation execution. The intern will shadow validation activities and analyze practices and/or data. Core Responsibilities: Shadow validation activities described in validation protocols including thermal studies, cleaning, equipment installation and qualification Learn about and develop an up-to-date knowledge of validation requirements, practices and procedures Develop process maps of validation activities   Position Requirements Position Requirements: Good technical writing skills, advanced knowledge of Excel is required Basic knowledge of science and engineering Ability to quickly grasp new concepts Basic knowledge of process systems Undergraduate Junior, Seniors Minimum GPA of 3.0+   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Gaithersburg, MD   This position is currently not accepting applications.
