We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related major for an internship during the summer of 2018. This internship opportunity is with the Bioprocess Engineering department. This role is within process engineering team in the development organization, which is responsible for technology development, equipment design, and data analysis across the organizations manufacturing facilities. This position will focus on the development of new technologies that will drive efficiency and consistency in clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities. The individual will apply cell culture process development, engineering, and manufacturing knowledge to develop creative solutions to problems with a long term strategic focus. Core Responsibilities: The primary duties of this position will be to perform laboratory experiments for new technology development. A significant portion of the work will focus on process automation and/or modeling of bioreactor and/or harvest filtration performance. |
