We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics or related major for an internship during the summer of 2018. This internship opportunity is with the Analytical Sciences department. The objective of this internship is to conduct a head-to-head comparison of the ProteinSimple’s iCE3 and Maurice for Charge Heterogeneity Analysis of Biologics. To evaluate and compare two instrument platforms from ProteinSimple iCE3 and Maurice To determine the best place for the Maurice technology within the development pipeline Core Responsibilities: The intern will be in charge of collecting and analyzing parallel datasets on the Maurice and the iCE3. To fulfill this task, they will be trained on how to prepare and run samples on both instruments. He/She will collect and analyze all the data to help guide conclusions on how the new Maurice instrument compares to the platform iCE3 instrument.   Position Requirements Position Requirements: General Laboratory skills, 2-3 previous lab courses Experience with Pipetting and concentration conversion calculations Good problem-solving skills Good laboratory notebook taking skills Undergraduate Junior, Seniors Minimum GPA of 3.0+   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Gaithersburg, MD   This position is currently not accepting applications.
