Job Summary:

We’re looking for a talented, driven and collaborative Marketing/Communications Intern who is eager to contribute to creative marketing and social media projects at the Academy as we prepare for the 91st Oscars, build the Academy Museum, and see the Gold Program enter its second year.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support cross-functional, service-oriented Creative & Communications teams
  • Creatively contribute to and organize brainstorms for long-lead marketing and social media projects for the Academy at large.
  • Assist with receipt, development, and delivery of creative marketing projects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements
  • Current students, or recently graduated, studying in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Design or related studies.
  • Proficient in Keynote and Microsoft Office. Knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign a plus.
  • Effective communicator with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with a knack for organizing.
  • A sense of humor.

This internship is part of the Academy Gold Program, an 8-week internship enhancement program that incorporates learning opportunities including an intensive two-day orientation, weekly panels, exclusive networking events, workshops, screenings, and mentorship opportunities with Academy members.
