Summary: Responsible for direct sales, support, and business development of accounts assigned by the Sales & Marketing Manager by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Follow company's sales policies and work instructions to provide maximum impact and performance regarding all areas of responsibility.
Support company business plans goals/rocks including product development initiatives.
Prepare annual sales plans detailing the following goals:
- Specific sales objectives by product code and by selected major accounts
- Participation in trade shows and other marketing events
- Customer visits and proposed travel schedule
Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
Respond to request for proposal/quote for all assigned accounts
Perform account contract review and negotiation in accordance with established guidelines.
Stay abreast of industry and government requirements/standard
Works within company guidelines including but not limited to what is outlined in the Employee Handbook, Core Values, Safety Manual, OSHA Safety rules, Insider Trading, Conduct and Ethics and Anti-discrimination policies
Account Management
Execute annual sales plans to accomplish business and customer development goals by presenting and selling legacy and new products to existing and potential clients.
Establish and maintain potential client relationships. This includes handling product questions, concerns, complaints, and resolving other client requests as they arise. Assist with follow up and collection of customer payments as needed.
Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, new business growth, and other matters related to new revenue generation. This includes follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Internal/External Communication
Provide market feedback to management and marketing department regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and new business development ideas.
Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is preferred; or at least 1 - 3 years related sales experience or customer service.
Language Ability:
The ability to speak, read, and write in the English language is mandatory. The representative must be able to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. The representative must also have the ability to make effective and persuasive presentations to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Math Ability:
The representative should possess the ability to comprehend and quickly apply principles of basic mathematics.
Reasoning Ability:
The representative should possess the ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. The representative must also have an understanding of basic business practices including procurement procedures and marketing strategies.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The noise level in the office environment is generally quiet. While on travel the employee may be exposed to a variety of work environments including loud exhibit halls, aircraft hangars or overhaul shops, etc. The employee is also expected to be able to stay out of town for several days at a time.

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit for extended periods on airline flights, required to stand/walk for extended periods of time, regularly required to talk or hear. The vision requirements include: close vision and distance vision.

Travel
