With over 20,000 items in our portfolio, we strive to ensure every feature of every product is highlighted, and nothing more clearly shows a product’s features than graphical elements. Lots of them. Here at Thorlabs, the full-time graphic artist role places you in a fast-paced production environment within our Marketing Communications department. Candidates will work closely with Technical Marketers to generate the necessary graphics for the product presentations on our website (photographs, illustrations, diagrams, etc.) and create marketing collateral for use at trade shows. Members of the graphics team will also interact with management to produce engaging graphics for ad campaigns and giveaways. To fulfill these goals, the candidate must have intermediate-to-advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Prior experience with product photography is a plus. This position requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment and under tight time constraints. A subset of the graphics team is also responsible for the creation of videos and animations, and hence, knowledge of either Adobe Premiere Pro CC or Cinema 4D would be a bonus, but not required to apply.
