MedImmune is pioneering innovative research and exploring novel pathways across key therapeutic areas, including respiratory, inflammation and autoimmunity; cardiovascular and metabolic disease; oncology; neuroscience; and infection and vaccines. We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering or a related major for an internship during the summer of 2018. This summer internship opportunity is with the Purification Process Sciences group. Core Responsibilities: The main objective of this position will be to examine the stability of a novel bispecific molecule. High-throughput analytical techniques will be used to determine optimal operating conditions for the molecule. Column studies may also be performed. Presentations and discussions of experimental results at internal group/project team meetings will be required. Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: Plan and execute laboratory experiments Participate in solving and troubleshooting complex problems Analyze and interpret analytical data Collaborate and communicate with scientists from various disciplines within the company Work in a fast-paced, team centered environment   Position Requirements Position Requirements: Preference for Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering experience Previous experience in Bioseperations is preferred but not required Current undergraduate Junior, Senior Grade Point Average 3.0+   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Gaithersburg, MD   This position is currently not accepting applications.
