Share Email Opening Title Senior Applications/Software Support Engineer  Astronics Subsidiary   Location   Description General Summary: Astronics Test Systems (ATS) is looking for an applications and software engineer to join our Semiconductor Engineering team. ATS has an exciting line of massively parallel test systems that support the semiconductor industry around the world. We are looking for a candidate with a diverse technical skill set, including software, hardware, and knowledgeable in the semiconductor industry. Principal Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements: Interface with customers to provide engineering and software support on ATS semiconductor test systems. Evaluates, recommends and implements test strategies and architectures for new product development. Helps to develop test programs in C# using the ActivATEŠ Test Executive to customer specifications. Advises on new techniques and emerging test technologies. Maintain and improve performance and features of existing test platforms, applying appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development life cycle to support exiting and new products. Job Specifications: Must be fluent in English and Chinese, both written and verbal Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or its equivalent Five or more years of relevant work experience in the semiconductor industry, and software development Familiar with C, C++, Java, and C# programming languages Familiar with Linux and Windows operating systems Familiar with microcontrollers and their peripherals, such as Timers, GPIO, ADC, I2C, SPI, and UART Must have good analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills Must be available to travel to U.S. and China Must be U.S. Citizen/U.S. Person.
