What are the objectives/goals of the position?

The Planning Intern will be responsible for conducting an assessment of existing planning tools utilized by the GCO planning team including Portfolio Operations, Marketing Delivery, Multi-channel Marketing, Channel Excellence) with recommendations for simplifying and consolidating the tools where possible.

The assessment will involve customer surveys, shadowing members of the GCO team and documentation of case studies highlighting the effectiveness and shortcomings of the tools as well as capturing the overall user experience.

What are the primary duties of this position?

Responsibilities include:

  • Optimization of the primary existing planning tool (KXM) currently utilized across planning team.Evaluating for consistency across all TAs.

  • Documenting Standard Operating Procedures for Planning Team (specifically: Day O Launch practice, DLOP Process to KXM, Running a Prioritization Meeting, Running a Consult for Content Rich Asset, Editorial launch practices)

  • Organizing global Launch Community names/roles for future sharing and communication

  • Conducting internal customer surveys of user experiences

  • Evaluating potential solutions for consolidation and simplification

  • Presenting findings/recommendations for improving the user experience to GCO.

 
Position Requirements

Seeking Junior, Senior or MBA students
PC skills required, including proficiency in Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Must be able to meet deadlines/balance multiple tasks at one time
Presentation skills/professionalism

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage

 
Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal
