This person is responsible for planning and managing video and audio production with focus on advertising and marketing. Position will develop and post content, create and manage content calendars, analyzing results and craft weekly or monthly performance reports for internal review. The specialist needs to understand the brand strategy and tone while creating a consistent look in this space and all related areas.
The Digital Media Specialist position is responsible for digital on property signage, promotional email blasts to our customer base, and managing & leading Search Engine Optimization on the Grand Casino website and our presence on the overall World Wide Web – as well as provide multi-media support to MLCV and all of MLCV small businesses such as Eddys, Grindstone Laundry, Grand Makwa and any additional businesses that fall under this umbrella.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Create graphic effects that enhance the multimedia products & content, including narration, 3D animation, sound effects, music, dialogue, etc.
Combine internet accessible digital text, photos, and videos with web-links.
Create content that maximizes positive participation of our Guests online.
Assist with the development/execution of public relations & social media initiatives.
Work with outside vendors on major promotions for creative design when necessary.
Create status log weekly and/or monthly of ongoing digital projects and outcomes.
Perform regular Updates and Design changes to Grand Casino Website (monthly gaming & F&B specials, Gazette, etc.), Grand National Golf Website, Corporate Commission Website, Grand Harmony Spa, Eddy’s Website and all Small Businesses.
Develop content for Grand Casino’s on floor digital signage and Marquees under Manager’s supervision.
Develop and create interactive email blasts under Manager’s supervision.
Writing, developing, recording, and editing videos for use online.
Monitoring and develop monthly reports on Grand Casino’s competition and findings in Digital media.
Monitor all inbound questions from our Guests regarding the use of the web site, respond to requests for changing of Patron profiles such as password resets, and general operation of the site.
Additionally, design requests for software modifications based on specific needs.
Ability to troubleshoot typical technical issues that can occur and/or work with hosting company to resolve.
