Effective with the release of this position announcement, Winrock International is recruiting applicants for the position of Finance and Operations Director for an anticipated USAID-funded Tajikistan Agribusiness Competitiveness Activity project.
Winrock is seeking senior-level agriculture marketing, supply chain, and finance experts for a USAID funded project that will support the growth of a competitive agriculture industry in Tajikistan. The experts will design and provided technical leadership to activities that will support agribusinesses in accessing and competing in domestic, region, and international markets. Through its market-driven interventions the project will spur on and off-farm employment opportunities and incentivize investment in business service provision and market infrastructure. For all positions, preference is given to those with previous private sector experience and advanced degrees.
Finance and Operations Director will be responsible for all financial, operational, and logistical aspects of the project. This will include overseeing accounts and budget expenditures, providing grants oversight, overseeing procurement procedures, and ensuring project adherence to local laws and donor regulations.
He/she will ensure the proper administrative, financial, grants, and procurement functioning.
Minimum Experience Required:
10 years of experience leading accounting, procurement, operations, and financial management of complex international development programs
Familiarity with USAID compliance requirements.
Fluency in English, Russian and Tajik.
