Description

Responsible for the management of all aspects of the Catering and Conference Services departments in accordance with resort brand standards. Coordinates details and menus for clients' functions and maintains budgeted revenues through solicitation of business. Monitors and controls financial and administrative responsibilities, grows event revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department, including asset protection. Position assists in the development and implementation of departmental strategies ensuring the highest level of service by training and developing staff and executing the requirements of events based on standards. This position will exhibit excellence in cultivating the Edgewood Vision by executing both employee and guest engagement standards.

 
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years’ experience leading an Catering and Conference Services department or related professional area or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 4 years’ experience in event management or related professional area.

  • Guest service background preferred.

  • Working Delphi knowledge highly preferred.

  • Previous management experience required.

  • Ability to prepare, organize, and report data on and generated by computer and sales system.

  • Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
