SUMMARY: Responsible for the beverage service to Beverage/Food Servers and Guests in an assigned service station ensuring efficient and prompt service for restaurant Guests in accordance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures high Guest Service standards. MEETING PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION: • Responsible for the mixing and serving alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures. • Responsible for the mixing and serving beverages in a service station capacity to Beverage Servers in a prompt and efficient manner. • Responsible for receiving, issuing and keeping necessary records of liquor store and supplies. • Maintain a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis. • Knowledge of the Dram Shop Act and Bartenders responsibilities and rights under it. • Knowledge of all gaming and beverage regulations. • Participate as a team member with all Beverage Servers, Barbacks, Utilities, Supervisors and any pertinent Associates to ensure efficient operational standard. • Any and all other duties as assigned. . EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: •?One (1) year full service bartending required. • Serv-Safe Certification and Alcohol Awareness Certification preferred. Certification required within one (1) year of placement. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: • If required, must be able to pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test. • Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority, and follow all relevant DGR's. • Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process. LANGUAGE SKILLS: • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group situations, and to moderate-sized gatherings of associates, executives and/or community leaders. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. REASONING ABILITY: • Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response. • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and technical documents. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to: • Talk and hear; • See and adjust focus to include close, distance, color, depth, and peripheral vision; • Stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl; • Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands. • Lift, push, pull and/or move objects weighing up to one hundred (100) pounds. • Climb a variety of ladders, up to 36 feet tall, and use aerial lift equipment. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to: • A low-to-moderate noise level (offices). • A moderate-to-loud noise level (operations areas). • Second-hand cigarette/cigar smoke. • Moving mechanical and/or electrical components. • Motorized equipment and machinery. • Chemical solutions such as cleaning and polishing compounds. • At times may be exposed to unusual indoor and outdoor elements, such as extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, dirt, dust, and other hazards
