Description

To support The Trade Analyst will actively support the Director, Trade regarding trade spending.

Initially, assist with implementing a TPMS solution, along with designing reports (KPI's mentioned below) that allow us to accurately assess trade spend @ both the distributor & operator level, bringing a consistent structure for that analysis.Track and audit trade allowance spending for FFS. This will include analyzing the cost and profitability of existing and potential new Trade Programs as well as identifying the effectiveness of allowances by customer type, product category and SKU level as well as by geography in an effort to drive efficiency in our trade allowance process.

Communicate and assist pricing administration, master data, customer accounting, credit, accounts payable and accounts recivable and sales of business changes and modifications.

Regularly communicate and assist in monitoring the actions of the FFS brokers, analyzing their results and reporting opportunities accordingly.

Monitor and publish the agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) of all trade platforms. • Prepare trade spending budgets and forecasts including bridges and explanations to variances • Active participant in the simplification and process improvement of the trade spend process • Work closely with Master Data team on GS1 initiatives.

Program Administration Lead: includes adding and deleting user profiles, managing notifications and reporting, user sign on and in essence the internal help desk for Forge. Will also be responsible for managing Plan To accounts and coordination with Master Data as well as identifying new products that are ready for TPMS (i.e. Foodservice). Responsible for daily data integration files and contacting appropriate deparments for corrections that need to me made to the AS400 system. Will also be respobsible for unlocking user profiles as notified by the system via email.

 
Position Requirements

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred. Sufficient training and familiarity with Forge system is ideal.

Proven history of strong analytical and computer skills as well as proficiency with Forge trade system and Microsoft Excel is a must. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (Identify the basic qualifications, which may include functional competencies, required to perform this role at a satisfactory level. Core competencies will be included in the addendum.) • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field with two years relative business experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced software proficiency in Excel skills (e.g. complex formulas, If statements, Lookup Tables, Pivot Tables, etc.) • Solid analytical and problem solving skills • Demonstrated solid verbal & written communication skills • Demonstrated ability assuming responsibility without direct supervision, exercise initiative and judgment, and make decisions within the scope of assigned authority • SAP experience a plus
