Description

DESCRIPTION: EHS is in search of an IAVM Patch Manager, a Systems Administrator with Linux background and 3-5 years’ experience in Cybersecurity and in supporting patching and configuring Windows and Linux operating systems and third-party applications. Specifically, experience with the ACAS platform and hands on experience deploying an ACAS server and troubleshooting issues with each product, as well as the configuration of the application level for internal and customer use. The candidate should be qualified to support the following tasks:

Patch vulnerabilities within the environment to ensure information is safeguarded against unauthorized access or tampering

Ensure application of security patches for commercial products integrated into system design meet the timelines dictated by the management authority for the intended operational environment

Integrate automated capabilities for updating or patching system software where practical, and develop processes and procedures for manual system software updating and patching using current and projected patch timeline requirements for the system’s operational

Determine and document critical numbers of software patches or the extent of releases that would leave software vulnerable

Operate and maintain the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

Provide system administration and maintain operations of Nessus and Security Center

Maintain system patches, O/S, Database, and Application STIG compliance

Update ACAS plugin Libraries, in accordance with Dept. of Navy requirements

Resolve Security Center web interface issues and Nessus network scanning issues

Configure and manage ACAS application level for user permissions, policies, scan zones, and repositories

LCAT: Systems Administrator II (eCRAFT Code: SA2)

IAT/IAM: IAT-2

OTHER REQUREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's level degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.

CSWF baseline certifications (one required): CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP.

OS certifications: Windows Server 2016/2019 or CompTia Linux +

DISA ACAS Certification a plus.

Security Clearance: Secret
