Description Position Summary:
Philabundance is seeking a Deputy Director to lead our corporate giving and volunteer activities. This person will identify and grow philanthropic and engagement activities for all corporate partners, and will increase corporate revenue and relationships through research, personal cultivation, and solicitation of prospects via sponsorships and corporate partnerships. Methods of fundraising include sponsorship, corporate donations, cause marketing, and fundraising events. This position reports to the Chief Development Officer and will also oversees the Volunteer Department and Community Fundraising efforts.

Specific Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement goals, objectives, and strategies for the purpose of deepening and growing corporate partnerships
•Oversee all programs for volunteers, corporate sponsors and cause marketing/third-party events, including staff activities in volunteer and community fundraising.
•Implement programs aimed at securing corporate gifts of $10,000 and above
•Develop and manage corporate benefits and recognition program
•Create and develop all materials required for cultivation, solicitation, and recognition of corporate donors
•Work closely with Communications team to ensure branding and language consistency
•Coordinate and participate in meetings with prospective and current corporate sponsors.
•Use Raiser's Edge to track corporate activity – meetings, funding interests, relationships, etc.
•Track and prepare reports relative to proposal and report deadlines
•Accurately prepare and present a variety of reports to show progress in reaching fundraising goals
•Participate in Development Department and Corporate Committee meetings
•Contribute to the overall team effort within the Development Department
•Represent Philabundance in the community
Position Requirements Qualifications and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree and 7 plus years in non-profit management, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in volunteer management and professional fundraising
•Demonstrated fundraising skills
•Talent for public speaking
•Proficiency in Windows Office Suite and the use of database
•Raiser's Edge experience preferred

•Ability to conceive, plan, and execute Corporate Sponsorship program
•Knowledge of the local and national corporate community
•Entrepreneurial and creative approach to fundraising
•Demonstrated strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
•Excellent organizational and planning skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to deal effectively with both donors and staff
