Share Email Opening Title Associate Product Manager  EOE Statement Ascentis is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.   Description The Associate Product Manager will play an integral role in the supporting existing HCM products as well working with the product team to build the next generation of the Ascentis SaaS product line for the Human Capital Management market. The Associate Product Manager (PM) is responsible for supporting product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle of Ascentis products. Cultural Norms: What are the general responsibilities of the position? You will coordinate with many aspects of the organization including Development, Sales & Marketing, and Client Services to define, develop, and deliver these products. Development: The Associate PM supports delivery of high quality and timely product releases that maintain targeted client satisfaction goals. Specific activities include: Support and recommend prioritization of enhancements maintenance and enhancement requests Participate in brainstorming and scoping of new features Translate requirements into wireframes and user stories based on product schedules and timelines Coordinate with development to ensure that product requirements are complete, accurate and ready for development. Research and manage product issues Sales & Marketing: The Associate PM will become highly knowledgeable with respect to the Ascentis product line. Specific activities include: Supporting the Solution Specialists and Account Executives with product questions. Providing product training and product information to Sales & Marketing staff. Supporting the creation of product collateral, website content, and other promotional materials that require details on product functionality and benefits.   Position Requirements What are we looking for in a candidate? Bachelor’s Degree 3-5 years of working experience in software product implementation, support or sales engineering Previous experience in Software as a Service (SAAS) preferred Related market/industry experience preferable Ability to conduct market, competitor and/or customer research to prioritize product development efforts Ability to conduct win loss interviews and evaluate pipeline data to detect deficiencies and opportunities in product capabilities and functionality Strong writing, verbal communication, presentation development and delivery skills Entrepreneurial thinker Solid decision making skills in the face of imperfect data Project management experience with proven ability to drive projects to completion on time and within budget Moderate travel required to Ascentis locations, clients, and industry events   Location Roseville   About the Organization The Ascentis mission is to create innovative products that are easy to use for the often under-served mid-market that cover the full Human Capital Management (HCM) suite.
