Description

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage traditional geotechnical engineering investigations (including highway projects)
  • Perform geotechnical analysis
  • Prepare geotechnical reports
  • Communicate with clients
  • Coordinate drill crews
  • Assist with on- site construction observations and testing if needed.
  • Abide by ATC’s health and safety policies and procedures.
 
Position Requirements

Basic qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical engineering
  • 0-2 years’ experience in geotechnical investigations including writing engineering reports
  • EIT Required
  • Valid driver's license

Desired qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical engineering is preferred.
  • Experience with specialty testing methods such as PDA, cross-hole sonic logging, geophysical testing is desirable.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills (read, write, and speak acceptable business English).
  • Strong reasoning and math skills.
