The Web Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for maintaining all e-commerce/ omnichannel platform systems and their environments within a Microsoft Azure based deployment. Components include the following: Windows OS, Sitecore CMS, SQL Server Enterprise, Microsoft/.NET, MongDB, and Microsoft Dynamics AX. Primary Responsibilities: The Web Infrastructure Engineer responsibilities include installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the Azure built environment on an ongoing basis, as well as scheduling and executing code deployments and application upgrades. Sitecore installation & upgrades, while working in conjunction with the application team responsible for these applications. Act as the release manager in communicating code/patch/software releases to the different stakeholders in IT and the business. Administer the application databases with Database Administrator (plan and perform database upgrades, apply database maintenance, design and maintain physical database layout, perform database reorganizations, develop and implement backup and restore strategy, maintain database security, administer database performance, manage database storage, database problem determination, resolution, etc.). Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each application instance. Manage user access, authorizations, and profiles across the Sitecore Infrastructure Monitor all systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.).   Position Requirements Bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience. 5+ years' experience, with demonstrated professional growth, in an Infrastructure or Technical capacity with the following technologies: Cloud Based Computing (Azure) Windows Server Environment (IIS, SQL Server & ETL processes, MongoDB a plus) Proficient in PowerShell scripting Web Services Advanced understanding of infrastructure, network, and operating systems including the following: Web Load Balancer(s), Web Application Firewalls, DNS Server(s) Familiarity with development progression and deployment concepts. Operational background understanding systems monitoring and diagnostics. Ability to draw demarcation points and logically step through complex troubleshooting scenarios. Proven ability to effectively work with a diverse group in a fast-paced, changing environment, working with both internal and external development teams. Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to present and explain technical information, while establishing rapport, persuading, and gaining understanding. Proven ability and willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions, take calculated risk, and share new ideas within the organization.
