Being a Psychiatrist for Devereux has its Advantages

As a Psychiatrist, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share the passion for helping youth that are in need.   • Responsible for the coordination and delivery of clinical services to program youth.

  • Services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to include underlying medical conditions, medication management, clinical consultation with youth and family, and coordinate all medical care.

  • Expected to work collaboratively with internal treatment team and community treatment providers.

  • Provide consultative services within the treatment team on clinical matters providing support and guidance to treatment team including caregivers.

  • Participate in treatment planning and documentation in a timely manner as applicable.

  • Participate in quality improvement and outcome initiatives.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey provides programs and services for children, adolescents, and adults with IDD. Located in West Deptford, NJ this position is responsible for making sure all team members are in compliance with licensing standards, and should have a high competency in data entry and employee file in an HR Information System.
