Description

BASIC DESCRIPTION:

This position will be responsible for demonstrating, training, and assisting in end users' efforts to establish manufacturing feasibility and ROI. This technical selling position will require an individual with excellent problem solving, collaboration, data collection and analytical skills. This position is located in the Houston area with primary coverage in the Gulf coast with travel in North America and occasional international travel as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Demonstrates heating solutions and new innovative products for end-users onsite and at the Houston technology center.

  • Develops a deep understanding of heating requirements and applications focusing on the Oil & Gas market and collaborates with the team and the end user to create customer success with our heating solutions.

  • Contributes to the global team's application solutions knowledge base by sharing data and gained expertise.Implements the account or opportunity tactics from the field location and assists with opportunity tactics for other equipment or consumable categories.

  • Assists in training Gulf Coast, Mexico, Brazil and Latin America sales teams and channel partners and assists on opportunities in those regions as required.

  • Stays abreast of industry trends for heating. Methodically uses Sales Force to track projects and communicate with the team.

  • Participates in trade shows and conferences with a focus on customer pain points and serial innovation to better define our heat induction value proposition and provide technical and demonstration support.

 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field.Preference for Mechanical Engineering.

  • 1 - 5 years of technical sales and training experience strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication, relationship building, time management and follow up skills required

  • Proven problem solving, collaboration, data collection and analytical skills

  • Up to 50% travel as needed

  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred
