JOB SUMMARY The role of the Configuration Analyst is to conduct daily configuration management (CM) activities for all product-related documents and data in support of efficient, effective, and standardized Configuration Management (CM) support across Astronics AES. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Conducts daily configuration management activities on a variety of product-related artifacts in the Omnify Product Lifecycle Management System including part identification, baselines, change control and status accounting functions. Analyze engineering changes for CM rules, where-used, workflow, approval, BOM compliance, item lifecycle compliance, and CCB review. Liaison with Program Management to assist and coordinate change orders and implementation activities. Interfaces with Omnify system administrator, stakeholders and CM team to support Omnify PLM software modifications and conducts end-user training in support of business and CM-related processes. Supports the implementation of the CM Strategy to deploy efficient and effective CM practices consistently across AES. Develops and delivers end-user Omnify training in support of CM processes. Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and resolve configuration management issues. Archives, manages, and distributes documentation and records, external standards and archived files. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Qualifications: Configuration Management Certification preferred and/or 3 years related experience. Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), PLM, and ERP systems.
