Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Center for Autism Research and Education Services (CARES) has a Full-Time,12-month Behavior Analyst position open! CARES is an Approved Private School for children ages 5-21 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. CARES is located in Downingtown, PA (across from Chester County IU). This is a Full-Time 12- month Behavioral Analyst position.

Behavioral Analyst responsiblities include:

  • Conduct FBAs with team assistance

  • Develop PBSPs with team assistance

  • Train classroom staff on PBSP implementation

  • Advise teachers and train classroom staff on instructional plans

  • Train all staff on ABA principles and other topics related to autism services

  • Develop new training modules as needed for program staff

  • Provide ABA and Autism services training to other Devereux PA program staff as well as to external staff as provided by Devereux PA

  • Provide feedback to School Psychologist for RR development

  • Provide feedback to classroom teachers for IEP development and student assessment activities

  • Complete classroom observation and provide structured feedback using tools from the D-PBIS Autism model

  • Complete individual performance observations and provide feedback

  • Conduct and lead others in applied research

  • Supervise staff seeking BCBA certification

  • Assist school administration in supervision of classroom staff

  • Lead team in family support and training activities

  • Provide internal consultation to other Devereux PA programs as needed

Position Requirements

Education: Must have a Masters Degree in Psychology, Education or related field. BCBA preferred.

Experience: Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with children/adolescents/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders. Significant experience writing Positive Behavior support plans and conducting FBAs, and training staff also required. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver’s license must be maintained.
