Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Six (6) months of Security, Law Enforcement or Military service experience.
  2. Effective communication-good auditory acuity, able to respond to questions and provide information.
  3. High school diploma or GED
  4. Physically able to; to stand or walk for long periods of time; physically detain disorderly guests as needed, perform routine bending and lifting of product up to 20lbs.; to perform repetitive motions of arms, hands, wrist, and fingers; and occasionally lift and maneuver up to 50lbs.; to work in varied (hot, cold, noisy, smoky) environment.
  5. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  6. Must possess or obtain a food handler's certificate and an OLCC certificate within 30 days of employment.
  7. Requires a high security gaming license clearance.
  8. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and customers regarding alcohol service. Adhering to all OLCC and Wildhorse regulations/policies regarding alcohol service/sales. Shall monitor the Bars or gaming floor as assigned, for alcohol service and guest behavior. Assist management in crowd control and supporting casino staff in any way possible

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Promote exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient and friendly service.
  2. Checking ID's of all guests that look below the age of 30
  3. Help keep assigned areas and walk ways clear of empty cups and trash.
  4. Preventing customers from leaving or entering the casino and alcoholic free areas with alcoholic beverages
  5. Assist management in identifying potential issues that may include intoxicated customers, possible altercations involving customers and/or any illegal activity.
  6. Cutting off and removing any alcoholic drinks from an intoxicated customer. Follow established notification procedures.
  7. Assist casino security in removal of problem customers from the casino.
  8. Enforce alcohol service times with guests, assisting with closing time and removing alcoholic beverages.
  9. Filling out the Alcohol incident log book at the end of each shift and any security reports as needed.
  10. Making sure minors stay on assigned pathway through the casino floor.
  11. Promote a clean, safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly report all concerns to Manager.
  12. Adhere to company policies, regulatory laws, codes, department procedures, safety codes, etc.
  13. Ensure that operations of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.
  14. Promote internal guest service standards with courteous and respectful behavior with co-workers.
  15. Keeping calm and level headed under stressful situations
  16. Obtain a First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment
  17. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Salary $12.00-$15.00 Hourly
