About the Job

Under the direction of the Director, Pilot Operational Support, the Pilot Operational Support Representative will be the focal point for pilot questions related to operation of Falcon aircraft modified with Dassault STCs. The incumbent will answer technical questions received from Falcon customer pilots; brief Falcon operators during customer seminars or dedicated ops briefings; and work with Dassault's STC Group to assist operators on regulatory matters associated with their STCs. The Representative will also assist DFJ Pre-Owned Sales, Flight Operations Department and Customer Service Department with technical matters related to STCs, and dealing with regulatory issues and flight operations.

Responsibilities

• Review or draft flight documentation associated with selected STCs
• Create and manage a pilot technical knowledge base (FAQs) associated with selected STCs
• Review pilot training curriculums developed by Dassault training partners and associated with selected STCs
• Provide timely and technically accurate answers to customer pilots, coordinated with Dassault Aviation Direction du Soutien Operationel FALCON and DFJ Customer Support;
• Assist DFJ Flight Department and Customer Service Department with aviation technical matters related to both regulatory issues and flight operations;
• Brief Falcon operators during customer seminars or dedicated ops briefings;
• Work in conjunction with the Dassault STC group to offer assistance to operators on regulatory matters (e.g. application for LOAs associated with these STCs);
• Filter and redirect field reports or questions to the adequate department/person
• Provide documented feedback to the company for significant events or questions
• Other duties assigned by Management in order to meet business objectives
Required Qualifications
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in aviation/equivalent science degree, or equivalent aviation/operations experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on or supporting business jet aircraft (preferably corporate jets and especially
Falcons) with:
o Good knowledge of all aircraft systems
o Good knowledge of operating procedures and flight documentation
o Knowledge of aircraft flight operations
o Knowledge of pilot training and the related training providers/centers
o Knowledge of operational regulations applicable to US-registered corporate aircraft operation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously
• Expertise in the Falcon 50 series, Falcon 900 legacy series or Falcon 2000 legacy series strongly preferred
• Knowledge of commercial aviation, general aviation and/or turbojet aircraft preferred
• FAA-licensed aircraft pilot preferred
• Knowledge of company procedures and organization a plus
• Knowledge of aviation technical communications
