Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a detailed orientated, compassionate part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Under the supervision of the Program Administrator, you will provide nursing care to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a residential setting. This position is located in the Santa Barbara area.
This is a position for a caring individual with great organizational skills and with experience providing care to individuals that have moderate and severe disabilities including autism spectrum diagnosis. In all our programs we promote independent living for the individuals we serve as well as opportunities for community inclusion. As a CNA you will work as part of a healthcare team to provide quality ursing care to individuals served.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, and incontinence care
- Transfers, lifts, moves, and transports individuals using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention
- Communicates effectively and tactfully with individuals served, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors
- Knowledgeable of individualized care plans and provides support according to the individual's care plan
