Description

The qualified candidate shall provide qualified mobile device asset management support to WRNMMC's mobility branch, demonstrating expert knowledge in the tracking, assignment, reporting, and management of the breadth of mobile devices deployed within the organization, and will be responsible for a wide variety of support including, but not limited to:

  • Organize and maintain a complete inventory of Blackberries, iPhones, iPads, Mi-Fis, Pagers, and other wireless handheld devices deployed across all hospital users
  • Analyze existing asset data in disparate asset management tracking applications, databases, and spreadsheets; apply data sorting, processing, and cleanup strategies to organize existing and future inventory structures
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on asset inventory and status to ITD leadership on a regular basis
  • Lead asset management tasks during enterprise-wide device transition and replacement efforts
  • Track and log single inventory database for all devices, including key information such as Device ID, model, firmware, O/S version, user, phone number, service plan, etc.
  • Review, oversee, and review user mobile device requests; determine need and classification; assign helpdesk technicians with user setup, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, configuration, and other user-related needs
  • Experience implementing mobile administration service, in regards to monitoring, activating, and troubleshooting a variety of handheld devices
  • Manage multiple wireless carriers (i.e. AT&T, Verizon) and apply knowledge of multiple mobile device models
  • Analyze information, identify issues or risks, and provide mitigation strategies
 
Position Requirements
  • Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Ability to obtain certification requirements within six months to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, including CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, GSEC, CISSP, CASP, CISA, GCED, and GCIH
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Excellence in data processing and analysis
  • Good understanding of mobile OS and devices
  • Ability to communicate through verbal and written means with individuals, small groups and in front of large audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communications skills.
