We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to build our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing facilities. Under the direction of the Lead Maintenance Technician, and with minimal supervision, the Maintenance Technician will ensure the safe and reliable day-to-day operations of equipment, facility, and grounds; and maximize machine uptime.


  • Perform skilled preventative maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, facility, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.

  • Cut, thread, assemble, and lay pipe.

  • Installation, repair, and maintenance of various plumbing, heating and air conditioning components.

  • Perform welding and metal fabrication.

  • Basic carpentry.

  • Diagnose and repair electronic ignition systems for heaters, furnaces, and burners.

  • Repair and maintenance of equipment PLC controls and drives.

  • Test and replace circuits; troubleshoot and correct defective switches, receptacles, ballasts, and other wiring.

  • Perform a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to doors, windows, roofs, and other building parts; construct or assemble furniture and other wood and metal structures.

  • Operate a variety of equipment and machines including saws, drill presses, and various hand and power tools to perform repair and maintenance work.

  • Maintain tools, shop, and equipment in a safe, clean, and proper working condition.

  • Maintain various records related to labor, materials, and work orders.

  • Ensure completion of the Preventative Maintenance Program.

  • Follows all company work instructions, specifications, policies, and procedures. Follows attendance policy.

  • Professionally conveys accurate information to co-workers, contractors, suppliers, and supervisor; both verbal and written. Listens to others.

  • Responsible for 24-hour on call maintenance on a rotating schedule.

  • Performs other assignments as assigned.

Position Requirements • The Maintenance Technician is required as a minimum, to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, ratios, and percentages.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Perform a wide variety of skilled journey-level work in the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches, and work orders.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Understand and follow oral and written directions. Maintain routine records.
• Effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment.
• Work independently with little direction.
• Meet schedules and time lines.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.

• While performing the duties of this position the Maintenance Technician regularly is required to stand, bend, or walk.
• The Maintenance Technician must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• The Maintenance Technician is required to frequently reach above shoulders or bend below the waist.
• Able to work in 60 - 90°F work environment.
• Able to wear required PPE.
