JOB TITLE: Creative Manager

SCHEDULE: Full Time; 40 hours per week between 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday; Evenings & Weekends as necessary

DEPARTMENT: Marketing & Communications

REPORTS TO: Director of Communications & Public Affairs

SUPERVISES: N/A

JOB PURPOSE: As an integral part of the Marketing & Communications' team, the Creative Manager is works with the Marketing team to implement Family Endeavors' marketing strategies and communications. The Creative Manager has the lead role in developing and creating marketing, creative content, communications, and digital content. Work includes print collateral, websites, email campaigns, and other related tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize expertise in design, copy and web best practices/guidelines using a variety of software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, etc. to develop our brand and message in print and online. Transfer understanding of our brand and how to develop it through multichannel.
  • Create and develop project by creating general concept and presenting the idea to supervisor and Executive Leadership. Manage design changes and improvements throughout the development process.
  • Understanding trends within the scope of divisions served.
  • Attention to detail for aesthetic taste and quality in design and content.
  • Differentiate between projects that require lengthy creative detail and those that are time sensitive and need immediate response.
  • Works with departments to provide excellent service.
  • Coordinate media and marketing activities; Develop all areas of content generation and production for all social media platforms. Lead Search Engine Optimization "SEO" efforts.
  • Develop and produce print and electronic communications to ensure funders, staff, clients and communities informed of activities thru newsletter, staff newsletter, annual report, website updates (daily and weekly) and social media outlets (daily).

Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Design Studies, Graphic Design or Art/Fine Art preferred, Marketing, or related field.

EXPERIENCE: Four years of related professional including excellent, professional design, web development and marketing experience preferred. Will accept recent college graduate who have completed an internship and can present a portfolio.

LICENSES: Driver’s License with clear record required.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be available and willing to work occasional evenings, weekends for meetings or other job-related activities.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

COMMUNICATION: Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via oral or written means. Ability to communicate appropriately with all levels of individuals. Ability to present a friendly and positive demeanor to all. Ability to make oral presentations.

COMPOSURE: Good interpersonal skills, tact, diplomacy, creativity and customer service. Ability to remain calm and maintain self-control in the midst of difficult circumstances and emergencies. Ability to represent the agency and respond professionally in all situations.

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL: Must possess a high level of computer skills for all office functions, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and graphics software Adobe inDesign and Photoshop, website content management and social media for business.

DECISION MAKING: Ability to think analytically and evaluate the impact of program decisions and resolve problems. Ability to set work priorities and to evaluate and create solutions to work related problems.

ORGANIZATION: Professional and organized with a keen attention to detail. A team player with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, on deadline and within a rapid-paced work environment.

PLANNING: Task oriented with the ability to plan, organize, prioritize and execute duties as assigned, within changing conditions. Ability to work proactively and independently to accomplish assigned goals.

 
Salary/Wage Full Benefits Package (to include 403b retirement plan, health benefits, 13 holidays and PTO) Pay will be based on proven work experience.
