PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Working alongside the lead designer, product management, and development to create wireframes / prototypes to give design direction of various features within the product When necessary design the user interface as well as the User Experience Take over and manage the Style Guide. (Bonus points if you know how to move a team to a Design System and away from a Style Guide.) Take on and lead usability testing and user research when called on Know how to do design research and how to sell your designs Can work well independently & with a team   Position Requirements You have 3-5 years of experience Bachelor's Degree in Design, User Experience or related field, or equivalent work experience You have a portfolio Understanding of interaction design, and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigation Ability to rapid prototype creative concepts is a must You have startup experience or experience in rapidly changing environment Bonus: You have experience in Human Resources Bonus: You know how to code HTML, CSS, Javascript & React Bonus: You have experience with newer technologies like the wearables, voice, and VR/AR   Location Roseville   About the Organization The Ascentis mission is to create innovative products that are easy to use for the often under-served mid-market that cover the full Human Capital Management (HCM) suite.
