Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Secretarial Science, Office Management degree (OR) four (4) years of experience in progressively more responsible positions of office management.
  2. Flexible schedule - able to work scheduled hours as required for position.
  3. High School Diploma or GED.
  4. Customer service experience.
  5. Demonstrate computer literacy/proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and database systems.
  6. Physically able to work/sit for long periods at work/computer station and perform repetitive motion of arms, wrists, and fingers; and at times, move throughout a smoke filled environment.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to generate proficient written correspondence, and possess effective aural, verbal skills and possess effective interpersonal skills and abilities.
  8. Excellent personal appearance and hygiene habits.
  9. Requires a High Security Gaming License clearance.
  10. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Description

JOB SUMMARY

Performs administrative support functions for the Cage Manager including answering the phone, generating written correspondence, filing, office maintenance, schedule/coordinate meetings for Cage Manager and various other administrative duties as directed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient and friendly service.
  2. Prepares professional business correspondence and documents as requested.
  3. Organizes and maintains incoming/outgoing administrative mail, forwarding, handling and filing appropriately.
  4. Greets and screens visitors and callers to the department in a professional and prompt manner.
  5. Performs minor accounting, bookkeeping and analytical functions as directed, including preparing purchase orders, tracking expenditures, developing spreadsheets, preparing reports, enter leave slips and keep all employees satellite files up to date.
  6. Maintains the department office, including generating work orders for maintenance/repairs, office supplies, and ensuring a safe, neat, tidy and organized environment at all times.
  7. Monitor time and attendance reports for Department Head and staff, preparing documentation according to policy; and maintain employee satellite files, forwarding original employee records to Human Resources.
  8. Keeps Manager apprised of scheduled meetings, events/activities, etc., and prepares supporting materials needed.
  9. Attends meetings as directed, taking detailed minutes and distributing accordingly.
  10. Ensure that inventory of department equipment, tools and shop materials is updated monthly, quarterly and annually, in compliance with policy.
  11. Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  12. Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment for employees and guest. Promptly reports all concerns to Manager.
  13. Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior at all times.
  14. Ensure confidentiality of the department and WRC administrative and operational actions.
  15. Keep up inventory for Cage Department.
  16. Other duties as assigned or directed.
 
Salary $12.00-$20.00 HOURLY
