Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Work as a residential staff member in one of our operations departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with other staff in all duties.
  • Assists with serving guests as requested.
  • Actively supports and participates in staff spiritual life activities.
  • Depending on the position, may require lifting 40+ pounds.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 18 years of age.
  • Working towards the completion of a High School diploma or equivalent.

ADDITIONAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
  • Requires walking, sitting, and standing for 6-8 hours a day.
  • Requires employees to ascend and/or descend ladders and stairs.
  • Requires lifting and transporting 25-50 lbs. of gear and equipment up and down stairs
  • Servant heart and Christ-like attitude.
  • Will require over a mile of walking daily on rough terrain
  • Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers and speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person.
