Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Banquets Waitstaff  Description SUMMARY    Responsible for serving all assigned banquet events focusing on guest service and efficiency for tables and events serving up to hundreds of guests at one time.  All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the MNGE policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES 1. Greet and welcome all guests in a courteous and professional manner. 2. Review assigned BEOs on a daily basis and execute assigned events as directed by banquet captain. 3. Set up food and beverage presentation for each event. 4. Restock banquet food and beverage areas during events and according to company standard. 5. Conduct complete service of assigned events including plated, buffet and reception style services. 6. Ensure guest requests and complaints are handled in a prompt and courteous manner. 7. Ensure proper storage and cleanliness of equipment before and following events. 8. Minimize misuse and breakage of china, glassware, linen and other supplies. 9. Ensure equipment to be used is operational and clean before and following each event. 10. Complete daily side work. 11. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers. 12. Maintain standards of health, safety and sanitation. 13. Act as Bartender when needed 14. Must comply with all Oklahoma State liquor laws and MNGE Community Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance. 15. Handles cash and credit card transactions efficiently. 16. Perform other duties, as assigned.   Position Requirements EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 1 year experience in high-end and high-volume banquet operations is strongly preferred; and/or combination of education & experience.   Gaming License Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Number of Openings 1   Req Number FOO-17-00017   This position is currently accepting applications.
