Description

Maximize the sales, merchandising, distribution, and availability of SujaŽ juices within all retail outlets of an assigned market (natural, grocery, mass, club, independent, food service), working together with distributors, brokers, and SujaŽ field personnel.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Further the development, sales, and promotion of SujaŽ to build brand loyalty in all trade channels within assigned market.
  • Provide and implement strategic direction to support SujaŽ sales and marketing initiatives within account plans across assigned local account universe; ensuring account plans address promotions, ads, displays, distribution, availability enhancement, execution of price and package plans, and deliver account objectives within targeted per case investment guidelines.
  • Complete daily sales and merchandising calls on influencer and high volume accounts within the market geography with a focus on account development to achieve maximum potential.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with the broker/distributor sales force, management, office staff, and operations to maximize brand potential.
  • Educate and train the broker/distributor sales force through consistent market visits to develop relationships and maximize brand opportunities in the trade.
  • Identify, communicate and address retail opportunities to/for broker/distributor and SujaŽ sales personnel.
  • Communicate successes, competition trends, deals, product introductions and opportunities via weekly sales recaps to region sales manager.
  • Execute available monthly deals at store level to maximize merchandising potential, increase brand presence and eliminate out of stock conditions.
  • Execute SujaŽ point of sale, stackers, cold box displays, and secondary placement opportunities using tools provided from the company. Ensure adequate point of sale and rack availability at the distributor and communicate needs to manager.
  • Check SujaŽ inventory levels at each distributor and communicate and all potential problems to distributor and SujaŽ manager.
  • Participate in crew drives and market blitzes as requested.
  • Report daily activities through company CRM mobile app
  • Analyze and utilize sales, scan, and syndicated data to identify opportunity gaps and increase overall market sales
  • Identify accounts that can be maximized with SujaŽ field marketing team.
  • Work with the National/Regional Field Marketing Manager as the market point of contact on field marketing.
  • Work with local FM Managers to Direct and manage a demo product specialist team by executing demos that meet sales requirements through effective hiring, training, scheduling, and terminating of personnel.
  • Work to run and execute market/region specific trade and vendor tabletop shows.

* The scope of the position will be adjusted based on business needs and market trends

 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred or 5 year successful track record selling consumer products in current area. DSD experience a plus.
  • Must possess internal drive and fortitude, high energy, resourceful, responsible, flexible, and excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a mobile environment and navigate assigned territory (extensive local travel with some overnight trips based on territory needs).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Capable of analyzing information and assembling sales presentations for buyers and store managers.
  • Capable and willing to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, resetting displays and installing glide racks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook) and ability to learn proprietary software applications.
