Description

To ensure the effective management of finished goods, ingredients and maintenance inventories.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Cycle Count Management. Plan, review and spot check EAM cycle counts for accuracy in quantity and costing. Meet monthly closing deadlines within the cycle count program.
  • Assist in reconciling daily production counts against daily packaging and ingredients inventory reports.
  • Research significant production inventory variances by examining bills of material, receipts, shipments, transfers, production usage, etc. Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production and Shipping on inventory variances.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operating reports. Record and summarize inventory variances and scrap to Controller and other members of management.
  • Communicate any variances to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor adjustments in the system for accuracy.
  • Assist finance manager with accounting tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience. Preferably two years experience in Inventory Control management.
  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of MicroSoft Office Suite, experience with EAP software.
  • Self-starter, strong interpersonal communication skills and desire to work as part of a team.
