Members also will be serving as community ambassadors for non-game related events while attending various community functions promoting Pirates Baseball. Responsibilities Responsible for the execution of all inning break activities that include, t-shirt tosses, box of mystery and other in-game features. Responsible for all prep work for each inning break. Responsible for the execution of Kid's Sunday events that include Kids Fun Zone on Federal Street (pre game) and Kids Run the Bases (post-game). Candidates will be trained on some pre game activities such as balloon twisting, bat hat, etc. Other duties as assigned by the Special Events Department. Assist with Pierogie appearances, either as a character or assisting character at community functions and home games.   Position Requirements General knowledge of baseball and the Pittsburgh Pirates. 18 years or older. Comfortable working with the public and especially children. Ability to work 70% of 81 home games (56 games) with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays. Weekday schedule typically starts at 5:15. Ability to attend at least 70% of all community functions promoting Pirates baseball. Timing of these events are typically weekend, but may fall within9 AM - 5 PM. Must obtain Act 33, 34 and 73 clearances within 60 days of start date. One semester of college credit desired.
