Manager On Duty 

Description

SUMMARY
Direct, organize, coordinate, and oversee all departments during the assigned shift to ensure guests have an exciting gaming experience. Assumes operational responsibility, and exercises final authority during the shift in the absence of the directors and/or General Manager. To execute established rules on gaming policies, standard operating procedures, Minimum Internal Control (MIC) compliance procedures and Office of Public Gaming (OPG) policies. Provides daily results of shift operations, and submits reports as directed. Always presents a positive image in the casino and community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Ensures the best possible guest service and addresses guest and employee needs in courteous and prompt manner.
2. Maintains open communication between departments and acts as a liaison between operational and administrative personnel. Builds and promotes teamwork to ensure a unified and efficient operation.
3. Ensures compliance with gaming rules and regulations (SOP, MICS & OPG), tribal laws and mandates, and enforces controls to protect assets.
4. Performs management functions as needed and provides direction/guidance to shift personnel.
5. Monitors shift staffing levels to ensure all departments are adequately staffed.
6. Identifies areas in need of attention and provides advice and/or resolutions concerning operational deficiencies in order to maintain the highest level of operation.
7. Maintains security access to sensitive areas during working hours.
8. Additional duties as may be assigned. 

 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years business experience.
Experience in Tribal Gaming preferred including a thorough knowledge of casino policies and procedures.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Muscogee (Creek) Nation Gaming License is required.
Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements.
Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check, drug test, and obtain gaming license as required.

 
Gaming License Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
