In addition to standard maintenance duties, the Farm Administrator will assist customers as well as team members with on-going projects and maintain the full SharePoint Lifecycle Management practice throughout each project. The successful candidate should possess in-depth technical knowledge along with the ability to implement a full SharePoint Solution Lifecycle, along the ability to support multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have migration and operational experience with both SharePoint 2010 as well as SharePoint 2013. The candidate shall also possess strong knowledge of Internet Information Server (IIS) and Microsoft SQL Server. The person selected will be responsible for performing Farm backup procedures using a prescribed disaster recover methodology. Performance Objectives Design and provision SharePoint Enterprise for multiple environments (Staging, Production, Testing, Development) Deploy, upgrade, and remove SharePoint solution packages (WSPs) across the SharePoint farm Manage and maintain user access and permissions (applying relevant security schema) Troubleshoot SharePoint and Server errors via system and application logs Perform Server maintenance (monthly and ad-hoc) Query/ respond to trouble tickets via Remedy ticketing system Build relationships with engineers, project managers, SharePoint designers, end users and subject matter experts.
