Share Email Opening Title Operations Supervisor  Category Distribution Operations   Description Primary Responsibilities Ownership of all assigned supply chain functions assigned, and provides day to day supervision of these areas. Accountable for daily work assignments of all regular and temporary labor to meet or exceed customer SLAs while minimizing labor costs. Provides leadership and guidance to all staff for continual improvement of key functions and activities to improve efficiency and meet increasing customer and business demands Understanding of/experience with 5S/ Lean/ Six Sigma Understand work load planning to ensure efficient use of labor Enforce safety/housekeeping standards to meet AIB standards Ensures labor is balanced across departments as required to meet each days business needs, minimize overtime and reduce labor costs Effectively communicate work task Standard Operating Procedures, convey key information during pre-shift meetings and ensure appropriate shift hand-offs. Recommends layout changes to improve velocity, performance and reduces labor costs.
